I always knew I wanted to create my own company, but there were so many options to choose from. But one quote from my friend, Stan Tyler, struck me: "Just be yourself - no one else is qualified."

I’ve watched great clients make huge investments of their own talent, in their teams and with consultants or outsourcers to meet Company objectives and employee needs. It’s a considerable economic and operational responsibility. The effort to get everyone, internally and externally, on the ‘same page’ is a challenge. And, the ‘tyranny of the urgent’ can be distracting (and expensive in many ways).

The questions ‘what should we be doing differently?’ - ‘how can we work better?’ - ‘can we get more from our partners?’ and more eventually come. That’s where ‘being myself’ comes in.

For over 20 years, my focus has been on empowering clients and colleagues to succeed in their own terms - fostering effective communication, role clarity, and strategic alignment between clients, their internal stakeholders and consultants/outsourcers, creating a win-win for everyone involved.
